Getting There & Staying There
Halifax is served by Halifax Stanfield International Airport, with flights from across Canada and 1-hour direct from Boston and other northeast U. S. cities.
Thanks to Dalhousie University & Dr. Gordon Price for providing shuttle van service from the Airport to the Conference on Sunday, September 9th.
On Wednesday, September 12th, the Conference tour bus stopped at the airport on its way back to Halifax at 3:35 pm.

U. S. participants:
Carry your passport & a copy of your conference registration confirmation.
Consider the high-speed ferry to Yarmouth, leaving Portland, ME most days, 2:30 pm Eastern, with a shuttle van to Halifax. Or drive.

From the north, follow NS-118 south toward Dartmouth/Halifax. NS 118 becomes also Woodland Avenue in Dartmouth. Then, following signs for Halifax...
Left onto Victoria Rd.
Right onto Boland Rd. Left onto Wyse Rd.
Use the right 2 lanes to turn right and cross the Angus L. Macdonald Bridge ($1 toll).
Take the Barrington Street ramp.
Sharp right onto North St.
Right onto Barrington St.
Barrington becomes Hollis St. (slight right).
You're downtown now. Turn right on Prince Street & left on Argyle for the Convention Center. Or straight on Prince to the Prince George Hotel.
